There are numerous indentations and signs of wear and use. There is an old repair on the middle handle arm secured by three small rivets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis has had a long illustrious history, it is hand raised and hammered, it has a wrought iron handle  and has been re-tinned and re-polished. It has been refurbished to a standard to show its age and to ensure its future.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003eThis design has been used since medieval times and is still made today. This is an older example, it is around the early to mid 19th century.  It is a hand made piece with the rivets and handles totally hand forged, the patina is exceptional. This has a single handle with a 'rats tail' loop and sits slightly backwards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is beautifully made.
