The handles are fixed securely with three copper rivets.

The lid has a very slightly wavy edge from years of use and cleaning. There are some minor dents in the body. The body is lightly polished.

The handles are good and firm. Stamped 26 on the body, there are manufacturing hammer marks on the body - this is a special, good looking antique copper faitout.

This Faitout has been refurbished, polished and retinned by the hand-wiped method in Normandy. This lovely old pan has been refurbished sympathetically to ensure that it remains authentic but totally ready for work.

This pot has a silkiness that can only come from years of use and cleaning. It has a solid, dependable quality that is impossible to fake. The first time you use this pan you will know it will never let you down. If you want a signature pan in your kitchen, the item that says who you are - this is it.

This is all solid copper - the handles are cast bronze - real old-fashioned quality.

Now that it has been refurbished it is ready for another lifetime's work. This is a very special and desirable pot.
