There are some pans and some eras of copper making that are memorable and desirable, for all the right reasons. This pan has all the best qualities of traditional and all the benefits of modern manufacture.

The rivets are big and proud, the handle is perfectly placed on the pan so it sits safely when empty. The base edge is slightly rounded so the base is perfectly flat. The copper is good quality and thick - just enough for the style and use for the pan - very good domestic or professional. It is stamped Mauviel Made in France on one side and the more familiar Mauviel logo with Made in France. There are quite a few puzzles solved with these stamps!

If you want just one copper pan this may be the one you have been looking for. It will sauté, boil, stew anything you want it to do - a good versatile pan with a spotless past!

There are surface scratches and signs of wear, the interior has superb new hand wiped tin, done in house by us. There are no dents or damage.
