This is an old Sauteuse Evasee, Windsor or splayed pan. We estimate it was made in the early 20th century and has signs of use, minor base dents and surface scratches commensurate with the age and use of the pan.
This pan is one that doesn't come round very often, 2.3mm, new tin lining by Bill Cox at Normandy Kitchen Copper and the classic Windsor or 'Sauteuse Évasée' that has been favoured by many Chefs in France and around the world.
This is a 2.3mm copper pan that can be used all day long in any setting both domestic or professional - it is heavy enough to ensure exceptional longevity and exceptional even cooking.
It sits flat, there are minor base dents, the interior is in very good condition with brand new hand wiped tin.
