This is gorgeous. A beautiful brandy/cognac warmer that has been made in Villedieu les Poeles in Normandy by RC of Villedieu - fully stamped on the side with the RC Villedieu stamp.

This has been cleaned inside and out, copper and wrought iron handle are in exceptional condition.

Really fabulous quality. This can be used to warm brandy or cognac before you coat your Crepe Suzette or Christmas pudding, so the food is not cooled down and then it is 'flambeed' or set alight to reduce the alcohol and also to make a spectacular display.

It has a stabilizer so it can sit on its own without spilling, there is a beautiful copper button on the handle.

It weighs 314 grams 11.1 ozs.
The bowl is 12cm or 4 3/4 across, 5cm 2 inches high
it is 46 cm about 18 inches approx in length.

There are some surface scratches and some signs of wear and use but it is in incredible condition for it's age.
