This is a fabulous lid with new hand wiped 100% food grade tin.

It is balanced and totally fit for purpose.

It is a 23 cm so it fits a 8-9 inch 20cm-22cm sauce pan or pot.

The handle is securely fixed with copper rivets and the patina looks stunning when light hits it. The tin lining is in excellent newly done condition.

It is an antique piece which shows wear and has surface scratches. It weighs 706 grams 1lb 8.9ozs, it has a wavy edge.

It is thick copper - 1.4mm stamped MI

As this is an antique item, there are surface scratches and small indentations all over the piece and a new tin lined underside, there are some indentations on the surface. This is a very old lid.

It is a super size and suitable for a regular domestic cooker or range but is robust enough for professional use.
