Trottier Brioche mold or mould. Trottier started in 1817 and was the leading maker of molds/moulds in the 19th century and the company was taken over in 1899.

These molds are very rare, they seldom come onto the market. This one is a well-used Brioche Mold or Cake Mould or it could be used as a plinth for another mould too.

This fully marked Trottier Fnt (Paris Fabricant).

There are signs of use and wear, there are some minor indentations and surface scratches due to age and use. This is upwards of 120 years old, the tin is new and the copper truly shines.

It is 13.5 cm across or 5 1/4 inches across and is 5cm high or 2 inches it weighs 111 grams or 3.9 ozs.
